TS Sessions: Bacich

With a particular focus on tracks that sit somewhere in-between genres Steve Bacich is an exciting and eclectic Tech-Funk DJ that has jumped into the scene for 2010.

Since entering the scene at the beginning of the year he has played at a wide range of gigs for a number of promoters including Boomtick, but his main focus at the moment is his residency at Open House. Open House is on every Saturday night downstairs at Bar Open which has recently undergone a full renovation that has completely revamped the room.

DJ wise, Bacich started off function DJ’ing 5 years ago which proved to be a great training ground for train wrecking and crowd reading. He is also a proficient pianist and drummer with a number of years of band experience.

Today he is a Tech-Funk DJ promoting an eclectic approach towards dance music mixing the likes of house, electro, techno, breaks and everything in-between depending on the club, crowd and time of the night.
