Woohoo‚ Scott Brown returns for another healthy dose of hardcore mayhem!! I arrived shortly after attending the gabber/hardcore night "Railroaded" [which was pretty cool]‚ and DJ Dair was on decks playing some good old classic happyhard tunes to warm things up‚ as the crowd started to build up both inside and out. Dirty Den and Dazz K lowererd the tempo a bit but still kept things stomping along with their own brand of uplifting house and trance‚ making way for Greg Packer who played a crazy set as usual‚ with Interjecta making his mark on the mic. Then‚ once again sending the people of Perth into a hardcore frenzy‚ Scott Brown started to pound his unique trancecore sound into the room. There were a few bits which i thought could have been better [He actually dropped a hardcore version of "Blue" by Eifell 65]‚ and the sound-system was SHOCKINGLY loud and distorted when you stood anywhere nearby them.

but everything went right when he suddenly stopped the music and DJ Kev announced that he would be playing [for the first time ANYWHERE in the WORLD] the 2000 remix of NOW IS THE TIME!!! Everyone went absolutaly bananas‚ and things only got better from there‚ as he started dropping some absolutly WICKED gabber tunes‚ it just kept getting harder and harder untill it was full 100% Rotterdam gabber just POUNDING away‚ I was in heaven I can tell you. I was even allowed to get up on the mic to say a few words‚ but it was his last song apparantly so I had to jump off stage pretty quick so that he could finish up the set [oh well!] The rest of the night is kinda mushed up because my ears were HURTING from being so close to the speakers all night so far‚ so I only popped in and out occasionally to see how things were going. The last DJ [Puff? MRW?] played some WICKED tunes to finish things off‚ even dropping some old hardcore stompers at the end to send everyone crazy one more time. I loved this event purly because it gave me a chance to stomp to GABBER for once‚ there’s nothing quite like it hehehe. Respect to Easy Tiger krew for this one‚ keep them coming!
