One of the greatest DJs of all time... arguably the greatest, certainly the most successful... having accomplished more in his career than any other jock... no one comes close to this god amongst men.
A brief history ... CARL COX was always influenced by music and at a young age. He can’t remember a time he was not surrounded by it. It was the ‘70’s when he had his first pair of decks, at a very young age, and by 15 he was playing out at many local events and by the mid 80’s, he was heavily into soul, disco & hip-hop. It wasn’t until ‘86 that he found his true calling, ‘ACID HOUSE’!!
It was from there his music began to swing towards Techno and House and he
discovered his abilities on 3 decks, pioneering the style of DJ’ing. He has been in worldwide demand ever since.
CARL COX had his first hit in 1992 with the massive club tune ‘I WANT YOU’ which went to number 23 in the pop charts, and has a string of hits since then. Carl now likes to cross both the physical and cultural barriers, bringing people together through his powerful musical medium. His amazing DJ shows are world renowned. Carl has played to crowds as big as 150,000 at one time!
