The master of reinvention and old school legend, Keith ‘Kool Keith' Thornton who single handedly redefined the word 'warped' is time travelling back to Australia with the master of the beat, Kutmasta Kurt.
Back in 1986, Kool Keith was a lyrical innovator. An original member of legendary Bronx-based group Ultramagnetic MCs, his complex erudite raps and rapid-fire delivery earned him respect as an underground legend.
Soon after, Kool Keith emerged with his debut release, Dr Octagonecologyst under the moniker Dr Octogon - a crazed gynecologist from the year 3000 who travels back in time to 1996. Based in science fiction, the album was unlike anything anyone had ever heard. With DJ Q-Bert on the scratch, Dan The Automator (of Handsome Boy Modelling school and Gorillaz) and DJ Shadow behind the boards the album was quick to become an underground sensation.
Kool Keith can easily be considered one of the most prolific and innovative rappers of our time.

Kutmasta Kurt has collaborated, produced and remixed for some of music's biggest names! Including: The Beastie Boys, DJ Spooky, Linkin Park, Blackalicious, Dilated Peoples and many more! Kurt was last in Australia with Motion Man supporting 1200 Techniques on their national tour in 2003.
