Each time they have been to Aus they have brought that fresh flavour that Perth has grown to love. With the two crews having tight connections with major leading lables there is no doubt that we are about to be hit by one massive Easten Storm! On top of a busy international DJ schedule and constant touring around NZ, they have been busy in the studio working on their next album, to be released on Bad Company UK’s label, BC Presents. This is on top of having secured releases on other major drum and bass labels including Virus Recordings, Renegade Hardware, Project51 & Project Human.
Their new material has been causing a massive stir worldwide with their debut single making it into the BBC’s top 40 UK dance charts, and tracks gaining support from the likes of Andy C, Ed Rush, Optical, Grooverider, Bad Company, Friction, Fierce, Bailey, Pendulum, Mampi Swift, Roni Size to name a few.

Many will be astounded by this kind of success at such an early point in their careers that is, until they hear the music the duo has produced. Jackhammer snares, gut-churning kick drums and thunderous sub-bass are paired with a seemingly endless supply of infectious basslines and thematic effects. Ditching the blueprint standard of many drum n bass tunes, the State Of Mind construction has continuously achieved its goal of optimum dancefloor satisfaction.
As well as continuing their strong links with C.I.A. and 31 Records in 2006, State Of Mind will be working on their debut New Zealand LP for Concord Dawn’s Uprising label distributed in New Zealand through major label Universal.
