Masala Mix is Perth’s favourite Indian event. It returns for the 8th time with biggest line-up yet. Headlining the bill is DJ Kuly from the UK Bhangra Heavyweight group RDB, and Russ Jones from Future World Funk, considered as pioneers in the global-dance-scene. RDB (Rhythm Dhol and Bass) have already established themselves as a household name in the UK and in the International Bhangra scene as one of the most talented production and entertainment groups of their time by uniquely fusing together several hundred years of traditional folk music with the heaviest basses, crispest snares and hippest vocals Indian music has to offer. DJ Kuly has been waiting to play at Masala Mix for a while and has promised a set that will knock your boots!

Russ Jones from Future World Funk is a pioneer in the World Music scene, and highly regarded by the industry. His compilation releases of Indestructible Asian Beats and Desi Nation prove his versatility and passion for Indian tunes. White man playing Indian beats! That’s some serious Masala Mix!
