Bourgeois Bogan and Selekt are pleased to announce the welcome return of Baltimore’s bad boyssss, the sometimes retarded but always entertaining Spank Rock as they embark upon a national tour in early January 08.

Drawing on the music of their hometown, Baltimore, Spank Rock makes something genuinely unlike anything you've heard before. Of course there are antecedents - Missy's first album, 2 Live Crew, the Beastie Boys and Dizzee Rascal all spring to mind - but Spank Rock demands to be approached on his own terms.

They descibe themselves as sounding like “Fat girls in a hot tub, popping bubbly, after a long night of playing slots at Caesar's Palace. We sound like the X rated Motorcycle Diaries meets Kweli on crystal meth!”…Indeed!

MC Spank Rock (aka Naeem Juwan) has managed to reconfigure the musical landscape by being funny, catchy, clever, fearless and most of all, innovative. For this, their 3rd visit to our shores, Spank Rock will be giving us their bigger-than-life beats with the FULL 4 piece live version of MC Spank Rock, MC Pase Rock and the Baltimore bass Connection Soundsystem of Devlin and Darko.
