Cloud Nine
Cloud 9 was on the 13th of January, in the Planet basement. The feature of the night was Paul Oakenfold, voted 3rd best DJ in the world. This was a house night with DJ's: Phil K, Dave Jackson, Chase, Miggy, Darren Briais, Kulture, Whippy and Raphael. Tickets where $25, good lights and sound caused a house explosion of energy.
Sky High
E-Nerve event, that was mean to be on a beach but got cancelled.
Liquid Night
Liquid Night was on 24th of February at the Planet basement. This was a night of uplifting house sounds. Featuring John DIGWEED, the master of smooth, soulful house music. Other DJ's include: Rhys Evans, Chase, Dave Jackson, Darren Briais, Miggy, Whippy, Kulture and Paul Raphael. Tickets where $25. This was a good house party, some people said it was a bit squishy and hot, only good raves are. ;) It was very similar to Cloud 9
Sunday Monday
Sunday Monday was on the 3rd of March at the Planet night club (please no more there). The night featured WESTBAM, RESISTANCE D, and PASCAL FEOS. Other DJ's include: Greg packer (who played a wicked set), Whippy, Blackjack, Bridges, Evans, Dan the Man, Puff, Chase, with local PA Fanatik and MC's Stoat, Mr Cake and General Justice. I was there, the Rave went OFF!! nice light even though there was not 1 laser ;( sound was good. Westbam played for about 3 and a half hours, I don't think most of the people like the set he played, not progressive enuff, or too trancey, but I luved it and went hard throughout his (S)et.;) Tickets where $28 and a well done rave.

I heard that the rave was very good compared to Thomas rave standards. It went well, with the Thunderdome crew delivering the GOODs.. ;)
Adrenalin
Adrenalin was on the 19th of April at the Hallenic center (Greek Hall). Featuring on the night was DJ Nightraver (Holland) and Dj Trevor (UK) , really read the crowd well and a wicked 2 hr and a bit set. The night mainly consisted of Hardcore and Happy Hard. Dj Angus was a fuck up on the flyer & didn't come. Other DJ's include Packer, Zig Zag, Kenny L, Paul Collins & Skitz-O. Packer had a nice set and really made the crowd jump, (like usual) Zig Zag started playing Jungle, and heaps of people started to walk out (hard to stomp to I guess ;). Venue was ok, lights were really good, 2 kool lasers, but the sound was disappointing, whistle crews where louder. ;) but 4 $15-$20 it was a good rave.

Crank
This rave started off as a real crappy event. The sound was weak, the lights weren't going of, the crowd was non-ravers, (UNI ppl) ect. We thought we were in for a crap night, then it gradually got louder, strobier, and more ravers started to turn up. It was a night of phat jungle, but the crowd didn't seem to get into it until, Sensory Overload came on. With a fucken fast track, which everyone was jumping to, and they finished wickedly, they got the crowds respect. Then again jungle Dj's came on, and the dance floors cleared. But it was a good night besides locking my keys in the car, and the tickets being $20 ;/ it was ok.. Cop's were all over the place, at one stage searching a few people, a ambulance also took someone to hospital. We left at around 6am.

But All in all it was really a wicked night With heaps of RAVERZ, in my opinion around 2000-2500 headstrong! I left at 7am. The music was all HARDCORE, I didn't hear any jungle or trance. But in my opinion It was one of the BEST raves for '96. Big shout to Emma who I met going hard on the dance floor!
