Dave Lea Bio

Whilst holding down a Residency, and Brand Managers job at one of the leading clubs on the planet - Slinky. Dave Lea gigs tirelessly across the UK each week, and has become a major fixture on the global circuit.

Musical Style: In his own words his musical style is - "Anything from trance to techno, through to the harder stuff, so long as it has a good groove". With luminaries such as the late Tony de Vit and Mauro Picotto, Dave's musical style would best be described and hard and twisted.

Accolades: As the man behind the global Slinky empire, its fair to say Dave Lea would know the ingredients for creating and excellent party. In the three and half years Dave has been with Slinky, he has taken the brand from a successful UK club night, and turned it into a global renowned Super club with regular events in every continent. In 2003 Slinky operates monthly clubs in Tokyo, Singapore, KL, Dubai and Sao Paulo Brazil. He is truly an international DJ with flavour;

On the production front Dave works closely with Scott Mac, he was featured on Scotts "Damager 2 EP which sold 4500 and appeared on several compilations. Dave and Scott are currently remixing Sandra Flyns - "Do it Right" track for Clubbgroove, and also working on Damager 3 and 4 EPs.

Best Moment: There have been many moments over the years but probably the best are watching the sun come up through the glass dome roof of the Plaza of Nations in Vancouver with 8000 people still going strong at 7am. Also playing for Gatecrasher at the Docks in Melbourne, it was my first big gig playing to 10,000 people and was well scary!
