i wouldn't even consider getting a 'd&b' tune cut outside the uk as all
uk pressings are so loud you'll notice the level difference , ever tried mixing '3rd degree burn' cut in melbourne 'corduroy' (sorry sardi) very quiet pressing!!!!!
i got mine cut at a place called 'PR' in london , i don't have details as it was organised through RMX by an old friend of steve who works for a distribution company in london. but it's a pretty safe bet to use any pressing plant in england , they just seem to know how to cut over there , try a net search for pressing plants and compare prices etc..
but id get distribution sorted as you don't wanna cop massive freight or insurance bills (hey amenbro) by getting hundreds of copies sent back here.

Yeah thanks, but anyway, hahaha

NAh dont do it like I did,

UK only.

If you remind me, I'll message you with leroy (DJ SS's) distro's details/may be able to sort for you for a small fee of course, as Im mates with SS's nephew and another bloke Ostro that works in 5HQ

think it was £500 per 1000 copies after you payed an initial fee for first, or, master copy. I'd be looking to make £30 out of you though.

please please , bring them to rmx or give em to me when im out & about next , im getting things 'very' sorted now in the uk , and wan't to expose other 'perth based d&b' if something handed to me tickles my pickle!

i can't believe people don't send there music out!
the labels aren't gonna come to you for tunes , i spent the last 18months sending cd 's to the uk every week im sending them out , its costing me a small fortune , but i have tunes coming out this year on 'GLR,TANGENT,PHUTURO & HARDLEADERS' and also had shitloads of knockbacks saying my tunes are crap 'basically' but it doesn't bother me i just keep moving forward. certain tunes ive had signed i had e-mails telling me the 'arrangement was fucked etc..' then a week later an e-mail comes to say 'i wanna sign' one mans junk is another mans treasure.
get of ya asses 'producers' lets show perth we mean fuckin buisiness!!

*believe dat*
no other aussie state is representing!

mr. inter-phazer raises an interesting point.. why are so many perth producers so fucking lazy?

i know heaps of people who've made genuine, legitimate offers to give others a break in the business, but people are either too stupid or pig headed to take it. if it was a stepping stone into a particular industry (journalism for example), would you still say no? it is because accepting help is seen as a sign of weakness in the 'electronic music industry'?

everyone needs their first break - make sure your eyes are peeled so you don't miss your's when it comes by..

I want to remix statics 'Frequency Response' but the ass won't let me. Maybe because I suck at production? Haha http://www.teknoscape.com.au/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

One of my bros mates is extremely talented in making D n B choons - but is typical of what seems to be inherent here in Perth - hes as lazy as hell.

Personally I'm no fan D n B generally - but hes good.

Thanks for that post Greg - come hell or high water I'll get him to drop a tape off.

Lo james, brad's had one of his tunes out hey.. on that 44.One cd and I think he has something else coming out but yeah, even when I asked him for some tunes he said "HELL YEAH" and just never did it.

Seems typical of perth.

Packer is hands down Perths and argubly Australia's number one *arse lick* [but its true], however, at the end of the day, he is human, the same as all you will-be producers out there in Perth. if he has the drive and determination to get his shit sorted and get several of his releases signed on UK labels, then with time, and patience, and a never say die attitude, there is not one reason in the world that YOU can't as well.

Time to show the rest of Australia, and the world that Perth means BUSINESS.
