Ahoy maties ! Thar she blows , a rare beast indeed . A dark twisted monster from the depths surfaced for the first time to be witnessed by mortal men .

stuff i like:
the non-amen breaks
the b-line and the synths
stuff i dont like:
amens (overuse IMO)
this is all personal opinion based on the style of dnb that i like, but to me the track itself is actually let down by your breaks. it feels as if they hold up the track from actually moving/going anywhere. i guess it feels as if the synths could be taking the track in a faster direction, whereas the breaks slow it down and make it feel awkward and a little repetitive

pretty much what osiris said.
Far too repetitive for my liking. I gues Amen fans would possible like it though?

Amen to dat Chief.....
Haven't listened to it yet, but will do now.
Jungle IS the Amen break man! hehe Thats what got me into Jungle/D&B in the first place... So don't knock it too much. Anyway, if people don't like the plain amen.... then get it chopped up and shit.
Must say Tech Itch night (apart From Dillinja's Valve night) is the best night for tunes I've been to. And that was all chopped up Amens!! Though when I came across to Sydney and Newcastle and saw see Concord Dawn play, both nights were class cos they played hard shit all night. So much respect from Newcastle UK! Well done Mark (N) who invited my down to Newcastle, me and Helen had a good night.
Not sayin' I don't like softer stuff. But for the night to go off you need the dirty bass and amens. For me anyway.

Just had a listen.... to landwhale... I like the switch between beats. Though I can see what people mean about the lack of progession through the beats. But...like I said before, the only other thing would be to cut up the amens so theres loadsa different changes. The background is very from the depths dark like...
Prefer Rapture tho.
