IBM Business Machines.
You cant buy them in shops, there direct from IBM to the stock exchange.
Dual server motherboards are only used in Servers.
So, imagine a really highquality server motherboard/processor in your home pc.
very reliable and fast.

true, but there is usually no advantage in having a dual PC server motherboard in a home PC - and in this case the processor is slow enough for it to not really matter what sort of motherboard it has.

If you stuck another Pentium 550 (which are pretty cheap now) in there, it'd make things like photoshop/premiere etc work a lot faster than with just one. Not to mention the numerous audio production programs that take advantage of dual processors.

But don't listen to me, i'm an SMP zealot :)

very true, the other slot holds the bus and cache so the load is lightened on the other processor :)

anyhoo, not like i am putting a hard sell on anyone here, just selling for a friend so if anyone is interested...
