Just because of its breakthrough sound at the time it was released (2000).

de ja vu - theshy fx
selected works 94-96 - wax doctor
to the list.. the.. the.but technically they probably aren't albums as such, more of a best of...but i'll add them anyway.. .

Weird. I thought Mysteries of Funk was boring as all hell.
Another additions from me would be the Breakbeat Era LP, but its not by one person alone..

spose you could either call these albums
Hardcore Breakbeat (my preference for genre labelling) or DnB.
Alec Empire - Squeeze the Trigger
Epsilon - Homemade Bomb

yeah breakbeat era is dope....most importantly it has quality vocals - not cheese vocals like some recent tings...ahem

these be my faves, roughly in order.....
ultra obscene - breakbeat era
musique concrete - calibre
mysteries of funk - grooverider
colours - adam f
any photek lp (Modus Operandi, Form & Function)
though it must be said the grooverider, adam f & photek LPs in particular have superior production...yes yes

boring!!!!!- ive been listening to that album at least a couple of times a week since it was released abd i still totally get off on it - i love how unlike other dnb tunes the tunes can be listened to from beginning to end without being mixed and still hold my attention

roni size - new forms is actually roni size & reprazent. therefore not solo. also bad company isn't a solo artist nor ram trilogy, ed rush & optical or stakka & skynet.
news forms would have been my favourite if it was produced only by roni size.

trouble on teknoscape: have you ever had your shit pushed up?
You cockmaster
technically speaking 'producer 01' is a compilation album. . . . .

ffs u just gotta be so anal 'bout it don't u
well i'm soooorry if the albums i've listed were produced by more than one person
they're all still excellent records that deserve attention.
besides why do you think new forms would've been a better album had it been made without the rest of the reprazent crew? they won a mercury prize award for it and it's still hailed as a classic DnB album today
If you've ever seen them live you would understand how well they all work together

Yes, dillinga - cybotron !
I told you how to rock - in particular...
yeah that's my favourite track on the album.
I've got this Andy C - Live @ Fabric mix where he starts off with that and layers the intro of 'All Aboard' over it.
Can't wait for "The Big Bad Bass LP"
that has some mad tunes on it

There's a few D&B albums that I like, but I don't own / haven't heard all that many. (As most will know, I've only been into D&B for about six months.)
1. Infrastructure by J. Magik.
2. LTJ Buckem & MC Conrad - Progression Sessions Live in America.
3. The Usual Suspects - Champion Sounds.
No particular order. BTW, Grooverider's new CD ain't all that great. (The Harder They Come.) It's not bad, just average. Nothing that "The Godfather"'s avid fans would call special.
i vote EVAGREEN be BANNED FROM TEKNOSCAPE FOR CONTINUALLY SPELLING 'BUKEM' WRONG !!

Champion Sounds was a compilation album. I don't think the usual suspects were even on it http://www.teknoscape.com.au/forum_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

Oh why didn't you say so? I thought you meant compilation albums, not artist albums.
Yeah I got my bad spelling from me Dad's side!!! Spelling matters not, what matters is that LTJ Bukem is a very talented individual.

You cockmaster
where did that come from you dickhead?
with respect to the previous post i made, i was merely stating that the albums that other user stated were not solo. it wasn't a 'smart ass' remark at all, which is obviously the conclusion you jumped to. by the sounds of it you are the 'cockmaster'. not i.

hmm my picks would have to be:
Bad Company - Digital Nation (i havent heard Breathe in a set since Packer @ Scifi 2000/01)
Dillinja - Cybotron
Ed Rush & Optical - The Creeps
Stakka & Skynet - Clockwork
sure its not the most esoteric of lists, but its the ones that come into your head first that are the greatest.
