anyone else noticed spor being featured on the AU myspace homepage? ive seen him there a few times this week. pretty big publicity for a dnb artist.

Youre all forgetting the bullshit tunes he used to make before he hit lifted.... dreadnought.... way of the samurai! much much better then some of the other tunes hes made recently, so much more raw and dirty.

however im a sucker for knock you down(vip) and breathe in scream out and all the breaks/experimental hes doing(claments march or something i think it is, and cooka, blue girl)

hes an all round brilliant producer

i fully endorse this thread xD

his new stuff is good, but some of his older stuff on barcode before he found that "sound" is just mental. his breaks are tip top also. the man can do no wrong

ps. tactics EP

Used to be a great producer imo, but his new stuff is hugely over rated and boring as fuck (although I realise Im in the minority with this opinion).

Another fine example of d&b's recent obsession with production quality over creativity.

He seems to have found an awesome sound and has stuck with it to the point of making it boring... yet it gets broader attention from punters? Things like this really confuses me as to what people want from their music..

p.s. cyberpunk FTW

what's confusing? people are stupid and want mindless 'safe' music that they know they'll like, and are scared to hear anything new

Since Knock You Down, every time a new Spor track has come out it has been disappointing, and all the new stuff hasn't been of the quality I had come to expect from Spor :(

although his breaks (which I assume are fairly recent) are topnotch, dirty, dirty shit!

Spor is great.
Didn't like the Supernova EP much though.
Tactics EP is still his best work. Breathe In, Scream Out is up there.
The new track Stop It is fucking wicked. Loving the semi-minimal styles. Claret's March is more interesting than anything. Good production.
His experimental/breaks stuff is amazing too.
Can't go wrong imo.

i see what you mean for sure with this comment - but at the same time.. i fucking LOVE sonic perfection. with everything sitting in the right place it tickles me in all the right places.

lifted tunes are great - but yes tactics EP not to be forgotten.

the eyes have it / lose it = amazing.

in my copy of the EP i got 2 of the same record  hahahah.
twice the fun. or half.. depends how you look at it. haha

obviously his rmx of messiah is also ridiculous and needs no mention.

From his older stuff my favs would be running man, the eyes have it, ignition, powder monkey and molehill. New stuff is still damaging in a great way.

I loathe the Messiah remix. Both of them infact. Its like getting someone to remix the nine. You can't do it to classic tunes like that.
