due to the amount of AWESOME stuff you can find in verge collection (from furniture for an entire student house, washing machines to make fire barrels for parties, to vintage nang cream canisters), this thread will serve as an update for the current areas of perth with verge collection going on.
when glorious junk starts appaering on the verge in YOUR area, post it in here! or even if you just see it while you're driving around...

Anyone remember the 'poor' family on Neighbours a few years back? Their son was all down about something so his mum gets her van and they go 'treasure hunting' on verge collection. lol
I knew a guy who furnished his house with verge collection shit... he also crashed into a high tension power pole whilst drink driving and was wearing the shirt 'help me I've fallen and I can't find my beer'.

they're in the process of a bulk collection in westminster/nollamarra/balga. come on down for shit stained mattresses, broken tv's/desks/cotts and garbage that makes you wonder "why the fuck they waited until a curbside collection to get rid of all that shit? where the fuck did they keep it? and are you telling me they accumulated all this crap since the last curbside collection?!"
edit: curbside collections in the rich neighborhoods is the way to go :)

Rich neighbourhoods dont always have them... their councils provide them with 2 skip bins a year or something.

There is a website for this?
I found a pink apple mac, one of those ones that have the computer built into the screen, complete with keyboard and mouse in it's box
Figured take it home and see if it works because it barely looked touched, I didn't expect it to actually work though. Hardly anything on the thing and really it didn't have a mark on it, I think someone bought it then lost interest pretty fast. Score. Gave it to bfs mum who always said she wanted her own computer to learn and email people etc. I don't think she was too impressed that now she actually has to learn haha.

But i have a 975 square metre block, in a quiet cul-de-sac .so this does not bother me.
However.... Bulk rubbish is crazy here, people dribing around, russeling through ya shit.
I remember when i was younger, i saw someone taking a old suitcase off our bulk rubbish and i ran out there and called him a stealer.

I need a plan for revenge. Any Suggestions?
Last week some daft kunt set the bulk rubbish on fire at the house opposite me. 2am I called the fire bridgade and talking to the firemen (:look:) that was the 7th bulk rubbish verge fire they'd put out in the last 2 hours.

Is the mesothilioma that he's going to get from the asbestos not enough?
Maybe chuck a big sheet of it right next to his aircon or whirly bird things on the roof (which ever one he has) to be sure.

big sheet sitting there stationary would do nothing, the only risk is at the moment when the sheets get broken. otherwise the fibres will stay there bound up in the cement, nice and inert forever. when you crack/crush it that's when there's the risk of fibres getting released into the air and hence breathed into the lungs. besides, aircon draws air from inside and recirculates it, the air that it draws from outside is just passed over the heat exchangers on the outside and then blown away...
sorry to be a know-it-all but that scheme of revenge would result in just as much danger to him as the neighbour he's trying to get revenge on!
man what a fuckin retarded neighbour though, he gets caught doing something wrong, politely asked not to, so he goes and gets dirty with asbestos and calls the council on ya... what did the council say?
