Been in NZ since Thursday, staying with my new (huge) extended family on the outer suburbs of Auckland, a little village called Titirangi in a beautiful house on a cliff overlooking French Bay. Went to my future sister in-law's wedding last night and was pulled into every family photo, put at the front table and have just been accepted as part of the gang since I arrived, both chores and cuddles included. Heidi's family are positively fantastic, we've all been staying in the same house for days and haven't stopped laughing and drinking the duty free cognac, single malt scotch and belvediere we bought with us (love you duty free). In a few months this awesome family will be in Perth and will be joining my awesome family to make one huge awesome family when Heidi and I marry on the beach.

I love this and it pleases me much more than I expected. Fuck yeah, good times.

Finished painting my room this weekend, havent lived in my bedroom for over a year now..

Cant wait to buy a bed and finally sleep in my own room again.. Ah the satisfaction from completing it - amazing.

specialy sunday...killer day, best in ages..

got up early, went to the swap meet and got this lil fella

had a mate and his missus round for dinner, so went down iga to get supplies, on the way there, nothing, on the way back,
a 3 peice leather sofa..FREE

love the design, and needed anothe lounge sofa for the new pad....and it looks like it smiling HE HE

and then amazing food cooked by partner, roasted veggie with wine/white wine sause pasties, mashed potato with onion, garlic and ricotta cheese and spinach pasties, stuffed capsicum and tempura fish and chips, everything was home made apart from the chips!

AGAIN, AGAIN!!!!

just took me morning of, signed all the papers....

that formal approval i had for the loan previously i rejected...
re-did the loan at a 0.05% discount (saves us a couple hundred at least)

so now it is all offical, only thing left to do is get a home insurance cover note for the new house and POW...
