they didn't have it, it's not due back till saturday, doh
instead I got March Of The Penguins and An Inconvenient Truth - which looks good, and The Devil Wears Prada because there wasn't much else left to choose from, and were playing the beggining in the store and the song caught my attention
the book was ok, didn't plan on seeing the flick
That's what she said.
I watched a good Aussie flick the other day called 'Suburban Mayhem'
Real dark drama type comedy I would say but it has a dark ending as well.
If you liked 'Chopper then you will like this flick.
Also nice sex scene![]()
devil wears prada is pretty shite, nothing great, book was better. made me want to buy new clothes though - some fantastic outfits, and anne hathaway is GORGEOUS.damn.
I live in subi. subi isn't great for a lot of things
That's what she said.
saw Smokin Aces tonight - pretty mad! pity they ruined it a bit at the end with some meagre attempt at a story line.
other that that - highly recommended
sex, drugs, helvetica bold.
EatingWA parties are the cool place to hang out. You can find most of the cool people there. At EatingWA parties you can just chill and do whatever and totally relax. "Take it easy" is the EatingWA motto, for example, that's how laid back it is there. Show up if you want to have a good time. Another good reason to show up is if you want to hang out with friends.
OZeating - Australian Restaurants - Sydney Restaurants, Melbourne Restaurants, Brisbane Restaurants, Canberra Restaurants,Darwin Restaurants,Hobart Restaurants,Adelaide Restaurants,Perth Restaurants

Just watched the Chumscrubber it was excellent really enjoyed it. I now want a chumscrubber t shirt. Great cast, cool story and really well shot. I cant believe the lead was the kid from Billy Elliot, never saw it, but watched the featurette and i noticed the midlands accent and some ref to dancing and it twigged. Nice having a night in with a DVD. Not so cool by myself but hey the movie made up for it.
Starland videos rule!! The stargate inside the shop is incredibly geeky but i like it, the movie is pure shite obviously.
just watched blood diamond.
heavy.
sex, drugs, helvetica bold.
i just watched devil wears prada. predictable, but fun.
let them eat cake...
finally got around to watching pans labyrinth last night. i thought it was really good. reading the subtitles gave me a similar feeling to the one you get when you get immersed in a really good book.
kenny, and the big lebowski, both boring as hell. stopped both of them halfway through to go read a book instead.
last time my ex stayed at my house monnnnthssss ago him and my housemates watched the Big L. I went to bed. Goodriddance to you and your so called comedy! I did not find it funny either. Movies like Thank You For Smoking, make me laugh though
That's what she said.
fair enough, one of those movies that polarises the audience
I watched it on friday, I was in tears (although the 6+ sangrias I had were probably cause of that)
Only the Polytron reduces an entire mouse to a soup-like homogenate in 30 seconds
aww, i'm sure there are lots of comedies we'd both love
this calls for a BBQ/comedy/beer night.
That's what she said.
YESSS!! *punches air*
That's what she said.
Most movies we get a Hollywood drivel aimed at the lowest common denominator.
Sure, there are exceptions, but they are few and far between amongst the endless reams of crap.
What bothers me the most about movies is the cult like following they provoke. They are meant to be art, entertainment, they are meant to explore issues and discuss our world. However the mouth-breathers choose to focus on individual actors, their trails and tribulations and indiscretions. Goes for music as well. Too many people are so preoccupied with image that they judge music based on who makes it.
Pathetic.
I hate you all.

I watched the new Robotech : Shadow Chronicles anime on the weekend. It's about 20 years too late but I still enjoyed it. All the girls have massive boobsies
Also watched The Illusionist.. a very Edward Nortonlike movie. Good but.. you seen one, you seen them all.
My critiques of some of the movies I've seen in the previous week.
Sahara: Shit
Kinky Boots: Enjoyable
Red Eye: Decent for a cliche action movie
Edison: Pretty bad
World Trade Centre: Worst movie ever
