Very funny, but have you watched the review of the new type R with the UK prev gen Type R Civic? (New version we get in Aus - with the version we didn't get in Aus, hence Honda Aus not releasing/importing it because too expensive as it would come from the UK)

    what does it matter?

parts have always been shared and will continue to be shared between marques, esp those will part ownership of each other. most cars share parts with other cars, be it something as small as an a/c switch or something as big as gearbox or engine.

look at the volvo 5 cyl engine that has found its way into about 6 different cars lol

nah steerings tight as shit, never run at more than 50% temp and nothing with the passenger seat. the only stuff that's gone wrong has been all the little plastic stuff wearing out, buttons, trim etc, but nothing araldite can't fix. there's an occasional creak in the rear suspension when i fling it really hard through corners but it doesn't feel serious.

that said i'm now at 138,000, it was 130,000 when i got it, there's a chance they did it just before i bought it. *crosses fingers*. got it serviced at 135,000 and they didn't say anything so maybe it's sweet.

Rear suspension? You should speak to MJKooLio about that one...

TS! - If anyone spots a tidy GQ Patrol or 80's Landy Knocking about can you give me the heads up!

Im heading up north (Parabardoo) And need a semi decent rig.

Cant swing anymore than 10k and hopefully looking to spend less than that..

Im almost sold on both of those models based purely on what im going to be facing up there.
Cant chance getting stuck out bush...

    So - Looking for

    Duel Tanks (diesel preferable)
    Stock as possible really..
    umm?

    What else??

from what ive found (and used to work in a 4wd store) go the diesel. petrol's seem to guzzle alot in the bigger cars. if you like comfort go the 80 series but they do tend to have more problems (ie. electrical problems are quite common). the gq diesel is a slug and a bit lacking in the creature comfort department but they do last forever!

Easy tiger. Ever made, no. naughty.

Currently the sexiest engine ever made, is the same one James May drove to exactly 1/3 the speed of sound. In a production road car. Oh and it pulls the Veyron to 100kmh in 2.5 seconds.

it's an impressive feat of engineering, but i wouldn't call it sexy.

i mean cmon, it's made by volkswagon. they don't do sexy.

Oh, but they have. Go to http://www.bugatti.com/en/home.html

In the Veyron menu, click "Configurator", then choose English obviously

When the page loads, click "Fade in highlights" down the bottom

Towards the upper left of the Veyron, find "Engine" and click it

When it loads, click the bit that says "Listen to 1,001 hp"

It starts and sounds quite boring, then they rev it.

pulling the entire body off chassis and fitting IFS suspension and rack and pinion, steering, sending the body off for Soda blasting and while that's away strengthening the chassis with tubework and tubbing the rear for 12" tyres.

spent 4 weeks researching and putting together this order, and that's just the the new racing seats rubber, EFI components, ( efi 351 cleveland with torker II intake manifold and 4v heads)the interior and chassis parts, almost every nut and bolt, latch and clip will be new or custom.

interior has been measured and is getting fully custom made at the coachbuilders in leather and brushed aluminium.

along with a brand new modern wiring loom and fully integrated digital dash and matching shelby brushed aluminum surrounds from dakota digital

    in the shelby aluminum though.

as well as a retro-fitted climate controll system for our weather ( controlled by the digital dash of course)

havent chosen the exterior stuff yet because it's still months off.

today is the last day of it's present state.
