    oh wait, you trapped us!

if id realised you were collating evidence to deny a man his essential requirements i might of answered less honestly
And so your life's been a success and you have pleasure in excess
Don't worry it will all end soon, the crack of doom is coming soon
And so your future's looking bright and you've reached the giddy heights
Don't worry it will soon end. It is all shallow and pretend.

Ahhh there had to be a reason those Landrovers were seemingly so well priced and low km...

There's pretty much no mu's for sale in WA so scrap that idea most likely...

without knowing your budget its a bit hard to make suggestions, but these are all under 10

    one of my personal favorites
    the CJ5 series of jeep

SWB patrols ( any year, they come out up to 2008, so i dont know your budget) the old ones are cheap as chips

    XJ jeeps

    4runner series

Rims, CAI and farty exhaust on a 1.6L = rice minus the stickers and towel rack.

Could have bought a dinged up Silvia with CA18DET for the money.

Yeh I know what you mean. I just automatically call anything rice that has pointless mods.
That's why I never modded the Celica. Bad enough being in a hairdresser's car
Now I just drive a glorified shopping trolley.

    Albeit bigger than Alba's trolley.

celicas can be badass. I would high five the fuck out of anyone who did their up to look like the rally car. I dont give a shit if it had no performance mods at all.

Of course, the newer ones just remind me of a wedge of cheese.

i especially like the chrome tail lights mod on something that previously had a cohesive back end.

VT commodores are great for this

factory, lights flow into rear garnish

yeh we were going to look at the Land Rover Freelander until I read inanna's posts & also read some reviews on the Drive website & it's all pretty bad! Lots of problems with reliability from the looks of it.. Think he likes the Jackaroo & the Frontera at the moment! Budget is up to about 16k I guess

yeah best of getting something from a major car retailer holden/toyota/nissan/mitsu
much easier and cheaper for parts/repairs ect

    on another subject...stylings..
whats do you think of the new holden cruze?

think its damn nice for a lil car..and a holden

always liked the shape of the proton gen 2

in comparison to most i think its nice,
looks like a good size aswell, not 2 small...
    not 2 bubbly n shizz..

i do like the 09 golf, the big grill makes it look more simple but aggressive...
not that i will be getting anything for a while now...

if i was looking in the small crossover segment i'd look at suzuki sx4
mate has one, goes liek the clappers and is fairly solid for a suzuki

the older holden cruze is a suzuki underneath
i think the new one is build in the daewoo plant
god knows why they didnt give them different names, they are such different cars

Old man told me yesterday that they are absolute pieces of shit.
He's currently going through them all at work and updating their ECU software. Shitloads of bugs apparently.

They're going to stop making them in Korea shortly, with an Australian factory taking over. Maybe they'll improve shortly.
