Awesome supercar and one of the best imo. V12 with quad turbo goodness.I would prefer this any day over the Audi R8.

Pitty I will never be able to own one.

If i return to study next year, i will be doing lots of driving and wont have alot of spare $$

therefore I am considering a diesel

I have driven the Golf V (TDI)and i am impressed with the ride, and with 5 people in the car it still pulled pretty hard. What are the other half decent diesels out there for under 25k?

hes had some servicing/work done, lowered it about 15mm, #3 coil had the same issue as #1 did last year...gay tiny little crack, new boost controller etc...He -wants- to get a motor built etc etc..but i dont think he knows how much he is really in for if he decides to put a 2.2 in..

I've heard very good things about the i30 diesel as well.

Who cares if it's a Hyundai, it looks good, goes well, has plenty of room inside and runs on the smell of an oily rag.

Hyundai have made great inroads into making great cars. They used to be plasticy nasty cheap pieces of crap, but they have fixed their game up.

If they bought their 2 seater over here, i would give it some serious consideration.

i've not driven one but a guy on the ralliart colt forum used to own a sport 225.
he sold it because of the constant warranty repairs. he said it was a fun car though.

i know its secondhand anecdotal evidence but its all i got.

those renaults are decent, they're just very boy racer. if i was going down that route i'd pick up an audi s3

ps can we stop talking about hyundais please, they're just awful. they don't look nice, they don't go well, and this is certainly not the thread to be talking about fuel economy.

lol if that goes through we might as well shoot ourselves in the head! the price for EVERYTHING would sky rocket. they already have the tax on fuel if that aint enough they can go fuck them selves.

although if its on a federal level we wont end up seeing a cent of it spent over here is wa which where its needed most! we really need to ditch the east.

the transport industry will not allow it. they are already taxed on how many Litres they use....truckies will grind the country to a stop if that tax comes close.

I half built an i30 diesel tarmac rally car (itll be at targa this week) for a 1.6 oil turbo diesel (had a remapped ecu) it went fucking fast...ran out of puff at 4000, but if you keep feeding it gears, not much could have touched it off the line, the sticky r comps were almost too good for it

I got a little excited when I saw this.

Another question, have peeps been popping in the Nissan V8 into the Silvia's over in Perth? I saw one here for the first time and thought it was quite interesting. Then I saw an Rx7 and a 350Z with a 2JZE, crazy Americans.
