    DJ Hyper - Bedrock Breaks
    Koma & Bones - y4k
Koma & Bones - Blinded By Science.

you wont be able to pick up the elastic breaks cd by plumps unless someone u know has got it for u to burn. But your better off getting on audiogalaxy joining a breaks group then putting mp3's u like onto cd's, u get some real new shit way before it comes out plus its cheaper. Thats what i do i got about 10 full cd's of just top breaks mp3's.

hmmm... I haven't bought a cd in ages... but my faves are

TCR- mixed by Dj Tamsin and 10Sui (excellent)
Lee Coombs - Future Sound of Retro (v.v. good)
    Meat Katie - Rotten.Com
    Plump Dj's - a plump night out
Freak Nasty - freaks geeks and mutations
various - physics of freestyle, has the track by ransom and echoic, 7 of 9 (unreal)
umm, I've got the elastic breaks cd, but don't think its that good...

dwb- live at MoS (was our all time fave, but a certain teknoscaper borrowed and never returned it... Al can we get another one?)

I was going to buy it, but didn't think anything could top a plump night out, anyways, isn't more a remix album, and doesn't it have some of the plump night out tracks on it?

hmmm... so many cds I want to get, we went through the hugest phase of buying music, then they all got stolen, and we just havent picked up since...

    I have no new music

nah its totally different , it is just a mix album of tracks they selected but they got good track selection so its a pretty good cd.

the tracklisting for plump DJ's - urban underground 01 looked pretty good, go fer it!, my recommendations are:

Y3K - deep progressive breaks (mixed by Hyper)
Y3K - soundtrack to the future (mixed by Hyper)
    Y4K - next level breaks (Tayo/Further Still)
Y4K - next level breaks (Koma & Bones)
plus the latest Y4K mixed by FreQ NastY
    (spot a pattern here?)

if u like plump djs/krafty kuts/lee coombs sound, anything on finger lickin' should be good (Its a Fingerlickin' Thang should still be around, and volume 2 is out now)
everybody should own a copy of "plump night out"

seems like breaks is the latest flavour (after seeing ministry's latest edition "clubbers guide to breaks" *shakes head*) and Sanity in perth seems to have a lot of breaks CDs now

in case you've all forgotten, Hybrid are the best
after you've heard Wide Angle, everything else will suck in comparison

Has anyone got a hold of any of the new 4 Vini - Forever Young Botchit & Scarper stuff.

Some of it is supposed to be shit hot with alot of the big names of the breaks scene contributing tracks and remixes to tribute the deceased label boss ?

nothing beats the plump duo for classic and fun break times. every time you hear "scram" , "the push" in fact any of their tracks, you are re-invigourated!!!

    also : (my favs)
koma and bones (y4k and blinded by science)
adam freeland (tectronics and on tour)
10 sui (the TRC with tamsin)
    stanton warriors
    and too many more!!!

    HEY!! where's my wave ???

    HOORAAA! the CARNIVAAAL!!!!!!!

dont think its been released here yet. I also heard the y4k mixed by freq is shite, lots of like garage type tunes. Beber & Tamras album comes out this week, that will be tops.

Forever young has already been released here and this time around there qre freq nasty and mj cole mixes. I have a feeling one of the dwbs will play it at sonik...

Also, the original mix of forever young is about two years old now and appeared on the botchit breaks speech compilation. This compilation is probably one of the most overlooked break beat compilations of all time and is worth checking out.

    hope this helps

nah that freq nasty y4k is crap, a big let down on the previous y3k's and y4k's but im sure future funk squad will do well when its there turn. Tribalizm isnt to bad but alot of the songs rennies chose are well out of date.

the freq nasty y4k samplers are out & about... and i gotta agree they're not up to the standard of previous editions, but then again i like the progressive breaks sound better (wasn't that the point in the first place?) - its a pity if they are just going to get dj's to do it just cos they play "breaks" and not the style of previous editions... eg. burnin', superfly, etc. - wikidness
