Cheap way
if its a recent spill dap dry with paper towel... then put bi-carb on it... this will soak up any remaining smell.

Expeno' way.
Still dap dry, then you some of that cool carpet cleaner in a can stuff.... sprays out n a foam.. then just vacuum up.
