I have read all about it, on a few different sites about it.

There are all sorts of fucking descriptions.

You will get aches and pains, but these are normal.

You will get aches and pains, get to your doctor.

You will get aches and pains go straight to hospital.

??? You tell me which one I should choose.

So many of the ladies on here have said if I have any questions to ask them. So this is what Im doing.
“I do not try to dance better than anyone else. I only try to to dance better than myself.”
“Great dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion. ”

there is no harm in consulting a variety of sources when getting information. my last reply was a bit tongue in cheek. People with delusions of grandeur here may need to realise that Kelly is not asking US (ie males, girls who are not mothers), but people who have actually been in her situation before that she can have a back and forth conversation with, rather than just reading vagueries in a book. Seeing a doctor sounds perfect on paper, but in reality you just can't see the doctor about every single pain or ache, because you'll waste your budget on unnecessary doc visitations and then not be able to spend anything on the baby itself. As she probably doesn't know many other mothers, it does actually make a bit of sense for her to be asking people on here who have been in her position before.

Just did, they said to make doctors appointment.
Gonna leave it an hour and see if it still stays, if it does then I head to doctors.

I was thinking pinched nerve, but i never had one before so I dont really know?

    1. Mild crampiness much like period pain is normal. More than mild/moderate warrants a visit to the doc.

    2. That does sound a bit like a pinched nerve, but normally you would require an xray/CT scan to diagnose, and these are best avoided during pregnancy. I have pinched nerves in my back due to scoliosis, hot water bottles offer a bit of relief.

Your body is going through a lot of changes, so it's only natural that you're gonna get aches & pains but yeah.. if in doubt... see a doctor. Get a lavender heat pack.. that will work wonders for your back and tum.

Im going to get one on the way to tafe. OM NOM.
It would have midgets with drink trays strapped to their heads so you could get drinks off their heads, and every now then they would stop serving drinks to break dance to Herbie Hancock’s ‘Rockit’. It’s in a closed roof stadium and just before my set the roof opens and I would paraglide from a helicopter onto the stage and I’d play a set of bohemian free form jazz accompanied by a kazoo trio that consists of Dan from Nero, Skism and Skrillex. And everyone is on roller skates.

steer clear of heat packs depending on your bodies natural temperature unless you specifically want a certain sex. Sex is determined by temperature, with males produced at around 31.6 °C, and females produced at slightly lower and higher temperatures

I'm heading down to the lolly store today to get some gummy bears to try infuse some vodka with them.. Anyone tried infusing gummy stuff before?

My method i've planned is to chop them up into 1/2's or 1/4's then leave the vodka in hot water for a few hours, then freeze it up after they seem somewhat blended

    Hai!

nah, it doesnt break down like other lollies. you can make vodka gummi bears though.
put them with vodka and leave them in fridge for few days and it'll soak up the vodka and then you have potent bears. rar.

i make zee best lollie infused vodka - redskins and them toffee apple lollies ftw ^5

oh also - try sour worms/lollies... YUM!

haha cheers my friends been getting very keen with infusing stuff so he's told me thats the best method to use, so i'll try it anyways, and if it doesn't work then I guess i'll have massively potent gummi bears for good vibes!

If you have a multi-regional dvd player, then yes. Otherwise no.

in theory no, but i think it depends on the dvd player??

for older ones it probaby won't work, but i accidentally rented or bought a dvd for a different region and played it in a dvd player here on the off-chance it'd work, and it did.

if you've already bought/rented the dvd, you may as well give it a shot as you may be pleasantly surprised

Some of the older DVD players can be region unlocked using a button combo on the remote.

So I'm back at uni doing my masters after not having been at uni since 2002 and I need to know where online other than the Curtin bookshop I can buy books (not inc international sites such as Amazon). Back in my poor undergrad days, I used to just loan the books, I bought very few but now I'm in the ratrace of grown up life, I have bought the set texts and wanna get a couple of the recommended texts but I refuse to be owned and pay full price (some of the undergrad student left in me)... I am assuming in this day and age there MUST be an online Australian second bookshop where uni students put their books? I don't wanna have to go to the second hand book store on campus. Surely in '09 there is a site for uni students selling books???

Cheers in advance for anyone who knows.

Try around the Fremantle area, I think there's a few bookshops around that area. I'm not too sure though.. I haven't been that massively keen on buying reccomended texts. Maybe some tutors/lecturers might have a good idea? I know alot of them might have been in your situation back when they were undergrads.

Cheers, I was really hoping there's something online as I don't wanna leave the comfort of my desk chair- you're prob right about not needing to buy recom texts but I don't have the time to drive to Curtin or Alexander Lib after work in case I need them. I wanna study externally in every possible way!

I just thought there may be a secret online Aus uni student book selling site I am not aware of.

    Maybe one should be started?

Have you tried googling for second hand books interstate? Hell maybe even amazon? Although i'm sure that shipping would probably make the option of second hand books a tad more expensive.
Maybe when you're at uni next you could write a list of books you were after or looking for, and give your details and post up on those fancy little boards they have everywhere . Luckily for me they had some recommended texts for my philosphy unit up online so I picked them up after class. Brand new though.. I felt like a nerd splurge!
    Good luck with your search!

None taken bro, let me set the scene of a friday/friday night with my mates, local pub round 3pm, drink, gamble on dogs/horses "whatever Sujvlalko's on" till moneys all gone, shag pig or start fight, home by 10 pm, Game over, my mates hate dnb, let alone going out anywhere remotely out of a 3 to 4 KM radius from home. Clubs, Northbridge or Perth are strictly out of the question, as is changing out of your work clothes before the pub, unless youve picked up a gorgeous "bird" the night before on Oasis active and youre meeting her that night, does this make any sense to you? Im not that guy...

otherwise if you check the pin-up boards in 501 there's bound to be something..

ps have you come in to enrol yet?
I enrolled via post as I'm studying externally.

Oasis makes me nervous. This is all too much as in '02 when I was last at uni doing my Grad Dip things weren't so high tech...

I went to check out an online e-reserve text just now but something isn't working. And I have my password correct and everything ...sigh.

I might have to do things the old fashioned way and go to the library and check out the texts there.

you suck.. was looking forward to seeing you

If you need any help with shizz just send us a msg or whatever - I couldn't study externally not motivated enough.. I enrolled in a unit externally once years ago.. and that was the extent to my studies - I'd completely forgotten about it - now it's stuck there on my record and I've got a debt for it, lol worst student ever

When did you enrol? Sometimes some of the online functions can take up to 24 hrs to operate after enrolment

Ahh...... Those guys. Yeah I hear ya man. Just keep hassling Locky. He likes all the stuff you like

But I know what you mean with the friends. It can be frustrating at times when you're not on the same level. Most of my closest friends are in long term relationships and I love them heaps.... And I'm not 1 of these "omg gonna go out and piick uuupppp bro" type of guys (mostly because I'm crap at it), but you know... Sometimes you need more than just sitting around a house till 8pm the next day drinking and talking.

I need the help of an fanatic Eagles fan please ! haha

Im after little Eagles flags, small like the little flags they used to put in burgers (are they still around ? or do I sound crazy ? )
Or little eagles merch that would be small enough to decorate cupcakes.

Any suggestions would be great but not online.
I wouldnt even know where to start !

Doing a double unit externally this semester, Oasis, WebCt, Curtin Blackboard etc are all a pain in the arse. My unit still hasn't registered on blackboard yet. I want my unit outline so I can work out a study plan. I've paid $1500 and want some service.

Ditto dude. I think it happens at certain ages, particularly around mid 20s. for example, most of my mates are still drug addled ravers who go out on 6 pills and a half weight. I have a gf and just can't be fucked going out a lot of the time. It creates a lot of tension and kinda makes you want to seek more like minded types etc.
