dear ts,
why is it that every time i read a blegh post i want to head-butt my computer screen?
Chatting with my friend and her kid is going to school next year for 3 full days a week.
The kid will be only 3 years old.
I personally think this is a bit tough and I don't particularly like kids !!
Do you think this is too early for a 3 year old ? Also the kid will be almost a full year younger than everyone else.
If the kid is potty trained its ready to go.

I started going to kindy, 4 days (or maybe half-days, I no remember) when I was 3 and I turned out ok.. I think
I thought it used to be half days!
Not like my friend has a choice anyways - the curriculum etc has changed.
Least not like the poor kids in Indo where they go to school 6 days a week (if they can afford it at all) !!
and then...
Bought these fuckin cute heels while on holiday but they're a wee bit small.
I know when I bought smaller shoes in Melbs they were able to stretch them out then and there.
Sooo.... Anyone know where a 'shoe stretching' place is in Perth ?
And before anyone starts with the lectures of buying shoes that are too small yadda yadda, the next size up was miles too big.

Aaaargh! So many heist.
Anyone been to a reputable place and would recommend ?
Meet her at a pre-arranged time at her discretion.

Stretch her shoe.

Easiest way to resize multiple image files at once? I'm talking hundreds, if not thousands.
I have all these photos taking up entirely too much space, all around 3600x2700pixels and a whopping 2-3mb a piece. Need them much smaller for convenience purposes. Loss of image quality isn't that important as they aren't arty farty photos, but just random shit and memories.
Is there a shortcut I am blissfully ignorant of, or a program that can tackle this task for me? Welp.

Lightroom is pretty sweet for mass resizing.

Dear Teknoscape:
I want to go scuba-diving in the Great Barrier Reef, and need an appropriate dive-ticket...
- Recommended places? Economically priced?
- I've heard you can do some of it online?
- What was your learning experience like?
The band-aid doesn't heal the cut, your body heals itself. Everything is coordinated by your nervous-system, stemming from your brain to every cell in your body.
Chiropractors appreciate this innate ability, and are experts at locating and removing nervous-system interference, affecting every aspect of your life.
Nature doesn't need any help, but it can't have any interference.
Do you have a Chiropractor?
AB, I think they are pretty much all roughly around the same price - $500 (give or take).
Check this page out for some info. A customer of mine recommended going to a place in Hillarys, I think it's called Perth Diving Academy?
Is this for when you head to Cairns? I wanted to get my ticket before November in the hopes that if I make it over for the eclipse party I'll be able to do some diving but not sure that is going to happen at this stage![]()
I'll be watching on at home, haven't watched a football game in ages!
Wait.. 1:26 AM? It's 12:29AM! Stupid Teknoscape.. There's no daylight savings changeover!
Dear Adam Brown
You lucky lucky bugger. Any place that is PADI certified is probably going to be alright. They are the biggest diving network and are aimed more at the beginner diver. Get their open water diver cert, which is the basic one, and you should be fine. Thats the one I got, and its fine for just starting. I did the online course, and it was such a bonus. Its a 2 day course to get your cert, but if you do all the bookwork beforehand, you get more dives where you just have to demonstrate the skills required, like clearing your mask, doing an emergency ascent, balancing your buoyancy so on and so forth. There is a handful you have to do each time you go down, and then once the group has done that, you have the rest of the dive to explore and go wherever.
I have heard a lot of it comes down to the teaching skills of your dive master, and I had a brilliant time with mine. Every instruction was clear, even underwater, and that made a lot of difference.
