weird, sounds nothing like the other versions of this track (which are shite IMO) - a blinder of a tune full of dark, moody synths over heavy percussion

buuut... Oliver Lieb pres. Snakemen - Afrika is even better. And just been re-released on Yoshitoshi, double pack. With some suprisingly alright remixes, though the original is still the bizzness.

These boys are up and comin' in 2003. They're two West End lads that are tipped to be the next Groove Armada or Basement Jaxx. Incidentally, Groove Armada's classic "At The River" has been nominated for a Grammy, which surprised me, however is exciting news and evidence that the US dance music scene/market is really starting to acknowledge Dance Music.....and about time....the States is currently flooded with Trance, DnB, House and Hardcore- this is the first I've learnt of any reputable or major music industry organization recognizing it proper.

about 5 or 6 months back i think, i first heard it in mauro picottos set @ sensation 2002, amsterdam which was in september ... so im guessing around then
