In other news - seen star fruits, pomegranates and lychees.

How does one go about eating them ?? Oh and what do they taste like ?
haha its true, they do look like bumholes. I suppose if it looked like a fanny you would eat it, especailly if it was furry!

Starfruits: Just slice em up and eat the insides (not the skin)
Pommegrans: Just cut them in half and scoop out the red berry things out (great with salad btw). Just as a warning, the seeds can get stuck in the teeth
Lychees: Chinese burn or bite it a bit till it makes a 'popping sound'. Peel. Then eat.

Pommegranate & Lychees are the shiz...Can't remember what star fruit was like. I think it was a bit meh. Preferred dragon fruit more.

Wholemeal Toastie with ham, cheese, tomato, pickles and djion. Still loving this diet, such 'normal' food. Tonight we have beef and sweet potato pies for dinner!

Cheers for the fruit info ^.

I just went to IGA Glendalough - the fruit is turning AGAINST me.

Got some cherries - $25 kg. Still decent quality and the only edible thing I just bought.
Some apricots - YUK! Some kind of weird texture thing going on with this lot.
And just to be different - a green plum. I don't know what their sposed to taste like - but its tart, like a unripe plum. Pass.

Damn it fruit - why can't you be consistently tasty all the time !!

Do you smell the fruit as you pick it? And also feel the fruit to see if its ripe?

I went to Innaloo asian store - near the fish market - last week.
Fruit was cheaper but store was bit dingy and durty.
Quality of cherries was not as good as IGA but rest was alright.....
Parking there at lunchtime is bit of a nightmare so I guess I do really need to get more organised foodwise.

I still can't get the buying of bananas right. I buy green ones and by the time I get home they are already over ripened.

Not 100% on this but I think plastic bags have a negative effect on them. Maybe try taking them out ASAP and putting in a bowl/fridge?

Take the pie out, cook the shit outa yours, then reduce heat and put the pie back in.
Or just put the pie outside, its fucking hot enough!!!

Just had a tuna and pasta salad, with coleslaw mix mixed in, and red onion, with a little bit of mayo and dijon mustard. Was good

Is anyone like me, and particular how they get their sandwiches made ??

I always have a laugh with the girls as I like my sandwiches made a particular way and of the 10 million sandwiches they make every day this one girl said she'll never forget me. MAJOR LOLS !!

I had a laugh with her then told her that she does a great job and that I was almost crying when I left Subway the other week.
