Im wondering whats everyones fave stylus is strictly for transfering vinyl to digital....
has anyone bothered to have a stylus/cartridge for just recording ? or do you just use your scratch/mix stylus?

I would suggest that there is no need if you keep your stylus in good nick. I mean if you record sets your gonna wear out the needle, so why have 2 sets when if 1 get worn you just replace them.
Having said that I have a spare set of om's with headshell, but this is only if disaster occurs and a needle breaks

but im talking about how people have specific styli for recording only ie diamond tipped styli etc
looking at all the specs of styli gives me a head ache so I thought some ppl might have some stories to tell

just use ur normal stylus and apply some mastering with your computer if u want to improve the quality
