Last night I picked up Long Way Down.
Documentary-type series following Ewen McGregor and Charlie Boorman on their motorbikes riding from the UK all the way down to the bottom Africa.

I read Long Way Round about their first journey around the world so looking forward to watching this over the weekend!

    Yup - two series.
The first one they travel through Eastern Europe, China going around the world.
The second series they travel down through Western Europe and on through Africa.

Edit: I've seen the DVD's for The Tudors as well and wondered if it is any good.

Mikey - you should read the book as well.
They take turns in writing it. There's a lot of stuff in the book that didn't make it to screen.

I started watching Big Love this weekend.
I'm about half-way through the season and liking it. Really dislike the Nikki character though.

I think it'll be in the hair. The way her hair is done when she first gets into homicide is pretty damn sexy.

    definitely a hate-able character.
The second season is just as good. It even goes into a little more depth in the wives pasts.. which explains why Nikki is, the way she is..

Can't wait for the third season

Does anyone have series 5 of 24 that I could borrow? 3 of my local video stores dont have it :/

    Jack Bauer is my hero.

Is it just me or does anyone else thing Keifer Sutherland looks a little like the dude from Mythbusters?

Most of the NZ dramas that have made it over on SBS or Channel nine of late.

    Outrageous Forutune

    Insider's guide to Happiness/Love.

Well scripted, interesting characters & funny as hell.

Must be done on a quater of the budget that most of the terrible Aussie dramas are done on as well.

I saw bits of it but didn't think it touches her novels though

I've been addicted to 7up lately.. where they follow these children's lives every 7 yrs "You show me a boy of seven - and I'll show you the man" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0058578/

"If you have any interest in human behaviour, whether it be in kids or adults; if you wonder if what you thought you would be at seven, or fourteen is actually what you turn out to be; then you should watch this, and the rest of the series."

ive always been an occaisional watcher, sometimes id be at work
but i think the last episode of season two was where bones was buried underground and it sparked off some massive sexual tension and feeeeeeeeelings between the two, cause he thought he was gonna lose her

Oh yeah... that was going on all the way through season one as well.
    I think it's another Mulder/Scully situation.

    I love her though.
