I've been IQing Top Gear for the past month (as I have not seen much of the older stuff) and I'm gonna have a big marathon this weekend. I'm excited about, don't know about anyone else.

Deadliest Catch this week. After 5 and a half seasons (now in se6), I have grown to know and admire the fleet. Such a sad ep this week with Capt Phil going into hospital after a massive stroke. Heartwarming to see the rest of the guys rally around him, Josh and Jake. Capt. Johnathon from the Time Bandit is a real legend.

Hows your marathon going? Haddow would be proud. I need more suggestions for my next TV series d/l.

Also, can you please call SOA and tell them to hurry the fuck up!

yeah september!! too far Madmen is back July 25 though yesssss!

According to series creator Kurt Sutter, FX will be picking up season three of Sons of Anarchy,[14] and season three will deal with SAMCRO's roots.[15] The third season is slated to premiere in September 2010.[16] Additionally, Sutter wants to "take [the Sons] into a world that is outside their own, where they don't have control, where they are subject to other people's laws and beliefs and parameters, Where they aren't quite the big fish in the small pond." [14]

Award-winning actor Hal Holbrook has officially signed on for a four-episode arc, in which he will portray Katey Sagal's character's father, making him the first official guest star of the third season. Stephen King has officially landed a role on Season 3.[17][18][19] Plans for Taryn Manning to return in season three and reprise the role of Cherry were shot down after Taryn was booked for the remake of Hawaii 5-0. Kurt tweeted "happy for taryn manning getting 5-0 gig. hopefully 3 will be the charm for les' boy o'loughlin. bummed for soa, had an arc for cherry in S3." It has since been announced that Manning will appear in at least three episodes of third season.[20]

Does anyone else think that TB got funnier?? Not that I am complaining.. I am just finding myself giggling more than I used too.
You're entering the vicinity of an area adjacent to a location, the kind of place where there might be a monster or some kind of weird mirror. These are just examples. It could also be something much better. Prepare to enter... The Scary Door.

    "obsessed"

A&E's true-life docuseries Obsessed examines the lives of everyday people imprisoned by unmanageable, repetitive behaviors and sometimes debilitating fear. Whether it is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, General Anxiety Disorder, Hoarding or a variety of phobias, the unscripted series gives viewers a chance to see first-hand how an obsession can radically affect a person's life.

    yup.

The call has been placed, I have taken to fapping over Green Street Hooligans to get alternative dose of Jax. Daily fapping over SOA is getting old and has too much Henry Rollins.

I am so excited about 'The Walking Dead'. It's not coming out until October, but holy shit I can't wait.

For those who are unaware of the source material. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Walking_Dead

It is VERY character driven, just like every great story that involves fantasy, demons, monsters or what have you, these things are merely catalysts to drive great character development and such (well obviously the fiction elements must be done well too, to make it truly great).

The best thing about it is that ANYONE can die. It is never contrived in that sense. Undoubtedly the BEST zombie story ever (but in all fairness it is ongoing and could potentially continue on for a looooong time, so it has an advantage over film in that respect).

Been watching a lot of Curb Your Enthusiasm lately. I <3 that show so hard.

Funniest show on TV by a long, long way. Larry David is a friggin' genius. Spewing we have to wait till next year for a new season.

Finally got stuck into s3 of Breaking Bad over the past few days. Relentess, absolute perfection. Safe to say it can take it's place alongside Sopranos and The Wire as one of the truly great TV shows of all time. Bryan Cranston is the man, surely both he and the show itself are a shoe-in to pick up Emmy nods again this year.

On June 13, 2010, AMC announced that Breaking Bad has been renewed for a fourth season. Series creator Vince Gilligan has said that Breaking Bad won't return to television for Season 4 until July 2011, a few months later than its usual March launch date.

    lol rad

though Star Trek > Star Wars

Maybe she will really get into them, I was convinced to watch Lord of the Rings after years of avoidance and loved them. (by grandmaster, or pierre, or both?)

    Then came Star Trek etc.

That's a pretty shit bet to lose if you hate something. 250 hours!
    That's what she said.

shes notorious for not living up to bets (we have alot of disagreements on issues which get settled with bets) so if she doesnt like the first couple she wont keep watching... which makes me wonder wether i should skip any episodes with Wesley Crusher in it.

Why do boys always insist in making you watch their crappy films and play video games with them?
If I got forced to watch star trek I think I'd just fall asleep, or distract them in a way that they don't mind missing star trek anymore...
