City hopefully got it in the bag, Newcastle looked good but you could tell city wanted it.. on the flip the scum battered the shit out of the Swansea goals but came up with only 2![]()
I really can't stand watching top flight football any more. I ended up turning fa cup final off cos I just can't stand the constant theatrics to milk penalties and Chelseas time wasting at the end shat me. Yes I know this happens, yes I know they are playing for massive $$ - but tbh id rather watch championship matches or even the glory cos at least its a bit more honest.
City deserve to win the league. They have the best squad and beat Utd home and away (shudder). The fact that Utd ran them that close despite not spending significant amounts, losing Vidic for the season along with half their midfield (Cleverly, Anderson, Fletcher) and having to call Scholes out of retirement says a lot about the team spirit and the managerial credentials of Ferguson. The only genuine sour note (6-1 aside) was the European capitulation.
On the plus side Liverpool had a shite season.

If Ferguson had the City squad he'd win the league by 20 points. Its scary his ability to get the output he has done from a mediocre (in relative terms) squad. No longer the 'noisy neighbors' anymore i 'spose.
If Venky's have ANY desire to be respected and successful they will get somebody in who knows how to run a football club on a day-to-day basis and give them full control over footballing decisions. Hopefully the first decision they make is to get rid of that idiotic egg-head who has overseen our demise.

6 months ago this letter was sent, prior to the January transfer window where we didn't make a signing that would impact our battle at all.
Other fans have been quick to slate the behaviour of Rovers fans across social media and other such things, but tell me, how would you feel?
what happened last night????
last i saw liverpool were up 3-0 :/
Liverpool played the entire game like they played the second half of the F.A Cup I assume!
Chelsea fielded a relatively B side squad (in fairness we didn't play Gerrard or Bellamy) and got dominated the shit out of. If downing didn't hit the post (poor downing) just before half time from the penalty spot we'd have been up 4-0 by half time.
Once again Andy Carroll had a great game (MOTM) he earn't so many free kicks from Terry/Ivanovich purely for his presence just came shy of slotting one through himself, Henderson had a really good performance and showed what he was capable of.
The team we fielded last night should've been the team to start in the FA cup (with a few inclusions). Good way to give the fans something after a shithouse season, Sterling is a jet and i'm, glad he got a bit of a run towards the end, next year he should see some regular game time..
Glad i got up out of bed for that one![]()
It appears that way to me, yeah. Umbro could basically walk away from us, as the players if they weren't paid.
Infuriating to know that these concerns were raised and ignored.
So West Ham vs. Blackpool for the final PL spot, should be an entertaining game.
Gutted for you..no neutrals I know wanted a city win. Joey barton is a badman
Pretty sure I just watched history in the making.. That was incredible
Shudder. Did my knee today playing football too. Think it's bad so all round shit day
That was incredible! As much as I wanted to see the shitty supporters tear each others heads off, deep down I think they deserved it. But Mancini is an annoying twat.
im from canada aye
City deserved to win. They'd been the best team all year. Just glad that Utd ran them so close. Hopefully it's given Ferguson a reason to hang around for a few more years and knock them off their perch. He's seen off Leeds, Liverpool, Blackburn, Newcastle, Arsenal and Chelsea in his time. Now it's time to see off City.
Credit must go to Wenger too after their start to the season.

Well realistically we probably should've won league cup and the FA cup and finished about 6th. The EPL was pretty competitive this year, not to forget suarez was out for a shitload of games. If you look at what Dalglish did in the rest of the season after Roy was sacked you'd see he had the potential, this season just didn't work out and IMO the general consensus was to give him another year, I was worried once all the hype started earlier in the week but i didn't see this coming.
We're going to end up like Chelsea this rate
Who is doing the Fantasy Football this season? Is Donny still around, I don't think he is, can someone give him a kick to set the league up.
Foxes v Peterborough to kick off the season tonight! Yeww!
My club is the laughing stock of the entire football league. Can't wait for the season to kick off![]()
Solid showing from Saints against City. We even took the lead at one point! We may very well ruffle a few feathers this campaign if we consistently perform at that level. More importantly we might just avoid the drop.
Felliani was immense last night, completely dominated that game.
Would like to see him in charge at United when Fergie gives it away.
2 zip against Peterborough! Top start to the season![]()
Cahill wasn't much chop last season; they've got his departure covered imo
As much as Cahill was an idol he hadn't contributed since the first half of 2010/11 season, in reality it will free up much needed wages to bring in players. If Everton can get a decent start to the season (have been extremely poor for the most part of Moye's tenure) then I can see them challenging for top six.
United have announced that Angelo Henriquez has been granted a governing body endorsement which will allow the striker to register and play for the club.

"There are 550 million weapons in circulation globally, one for every 12 people on the planet. The question is . . . how do we arm the other 11?"
Does any one else feel Liverpool could beat City?
Despite the poor form against wba, we always play well in big games
