Mr D, you're right, it doesn't take much skill to push a button and flick a crossfader. But still, it seems that anyone can just walk into it these days, whereas a lot of DJ's (who actually have some skill in terms of phrasing, beat juggling, scratching etc) have to bust their arses to even get recognised.

I think that's what a lot of DJ's are doing these days with the advent of the digital age. I know it's how some of the changes from Dubstep to DnB happen in a set, for example.

Deadmaus is a cunt. He should try djing anything other than his boring ass, albeit well produced, music. To think, getting up on stage and pressing play or to play a "live" set (as much as he feels comfortable playing, of course) is the best he can contribute to the live EDM scene. While being paid fat stacks of cash for doing so, as hoards of idiots cheer him on.
