They are a budget airline. They have recently gone through CASA going over everything with a fine tooth comb. They comply with all Australian regulations.

As for your first, essentially thats what I was getting at, just in a topsy turvy kind of way haha. They cant be worse than Jetstar / Air Aisa etc - whom I have no issues with. And for the price you pay they are better than Qantas :P

to me that sounds like a pain in the ass. if i want to go somewhere, i want to KNOW i will get there. each to their own i guess.

i found returns for perth- M E L B O U R N E on the date i specified and the time's were decent too. i hate those 5:30am airport runs as well. but agree, the bulk of those cheap flights are on shit days and at shit times. like who wants to get back on a sunday night at 11:45pm when you've got to be up at 6 the next day for work. eek.

Jetstar is fine. I wouldn't fly more than 6 hours at a time on Jetstar economy seats at night. During the day would be fine. I am unsure why people are so uppity over a $60 flight from Perth <-> Melbs. I'd jump at it.

I've only ever had a problem with them once, the plane was delayed leaving PER-MEL. I have also flown them to Thailand and they were great. Bit squishy but most planes are these days.
