    YES!

and no doubt the hotel you're staying in has a gym, so each morning you can get up and jump on the tredmill/bike for a good half an hour workout before breakfast.

And whats more, chances are you will be eating freshly prepared, seasonal produce that hasnt been tainted with preservatives, excess sugars and salts, so you will be eating more stuff thats better for you.

Gorge yourself, knowing you are eating delicious food thats good for you.

I was meant to go to gym last night but after finishing work late - I arsed it and went to the beach instead.
Trying to get out past the breaks and the dip at Scarbs was a workout in itself.

Note to self: Don't eat brownies and try swim

We had our last meal in a cafe/restaurant/takeaway joint tonight - until we get to NZ.

Sigh. Will be good for our health though.

8th day non-smoker... so far so good.

Does smoking have a huge effect on muscle building?

I have been off the piss for two weeks now not Evan a sip, feel my strength improving and muscle growth going up, but I like smoking.

    Discuss.

People trying to get fit who still smoke make me giggle.

If you stop smoking your lungs will last longer during each training session. You can breathe deeper for longer meaning your muscles work better for longer which means each training session is more effective.

I don't participate in any cardio training apart from sex and yoyo tricks, and have been known to jog for 8 Kim's in bare feet only stopping twice for a minute while smoking several Winnie gold smokes, I will still try to quit but one thing at a time.

    Current weight?
    Less than Kevin's

    Goal weight?
    80.0kg

How much weight did you lose/gain this week?
    +2.0kg

    Additional info?
Might be sleep-eating without knowing and undermining my new year's resolution

Exercise Diary - Input What you have done in the past week:

    Monday?
Watched an autopsy scene of an obese man in a special by Jamie Oliver and then felt inspired to go buy a KFC family sized bucket

    Tuesday?
Opened fridge night before and was tempted to go eat cheese cake. Woke up in the morning and looked in the fridge and found cheese cake was eaten. Looked in the mirror and found cheese cake was smeared all over my face

    Wednesday?
Watched a soccer game on TV indoors which involved plenty of sudden standing up exercises where I would rapidly stand up and then sit down again occasionally when my favourite team scored

    Thursday?
Went to the gym to smooth talk my way into cancelling my 6 month membership which I signed up for at the beginning of the year

    Friday?
Ate whipped cream off a nude stripper at a buck's party, but she assured me it was low-fat so I guess that's ok

    Saturday?
Watched The Notebook with a mudpack on my face whilst having a towel on my head and eating low fat yoghurt

    Sunday?
Spat out half the communion wafer during mass to cut down the carbs

i would love to be fit.

alas im too effing lazy, and i like to eat whatever i want - whenever i want.
ive gone to both ends of the scale with my weight, but seem to be staying at 50 nowadays - tis okies, its a good weight, im just not toned which is my only "body" issue. that and practically having transprarent skin...

i have a good diet; homecooked meals - fresh ingrediants, easy on the booze, non-smoker and yupyup water is epic.

but i cant even power-walk to the letterbox without being short of breath O.o

Ok so I'm doing really badly.

I havent excercised at all in the last week, and have been eating all the food I shouldnt. I feel like crap, but it's my own fault.

Egg whites and fruit for breaky this morning, going for a run tonight. I MUST do this.
Here for a good time, not a long time

    Thats awesome! keep it up

I had a bad weekend Fish and chips on friday night. Big night on the piss on saturday night + pizza for dinner. Hungover as horse shit on sunday morning which lead to bacon deluxe combo from HJs. Sigh.

Cos I have to psych myself up for it... I've been a smoker for 10 years + and its never really (to me) affected my fitness as I dont know any different. I quit for 3 months last year, put weight on quickly (mega carb cravings) plus I am not really a very nice person when I quit. Hmmm I am rethinking this quitting thing now

That sounds so delicious, I've not had any junk food for almost 10 days now...the cravings are shit. Just want to smash a footlong sub or a pizza from next door. The smells waft in at lunch time....

Lise you will do great i reckon you are in the right place to quit.

if anyone is interested in home work out videos i've been doing one of Bob Harpers (from the biggest loser) its really good ther eis a beginners one that is 25 mins and a full on one that is 1 hour.
