Well I hear alot of " security was fuxed, crowd control was rude etc'

So if you know who these security companies are, or what event they did security or whatever, make yourself heard, and maybe the promoters will try to make the change for the better.

Mean security can be a downer to all the shiny happy people holding hands

I think alot of the time the guards aren't sure how to act around ravers. I know I've seen some confused faces on crowd controllers the first few times they work and all ages party thats for sure.
Some of the guys working 18+ gigs are animals, especially when it's in a club.

The company Emerge and MFI use is good, but a few people can't handle Tracey, one of their guards.

One of the security guards at MoS thought I was actually going to go into the ladies toilets. I walked passed the front of them, then sat to the side to wait for a friend and he goes "This is the ladies toilets, your not allowed in them, your a guy" me says "yes, i know i have a penis, i'm waiting for a fanny" and he looked a little rattled so a sat a little further away

Security is the way it is only because they are dealing with people who they think will disrespect their authority if they are kind. Makes it easier for their job i think.

u'd probly be surprised how often guys end up in the ladies toilets. no one ever seems to care tho.

the security at system 6 was a bit off, what with all the metal detecting and such. but they supposedly belonged to the venue. although they were actually really nice, didn't look like they really wanted to be doing it. and one of them actually asked us if we had a good nite when we were leaving (sincerely too!).

most of the time security seem ok. then again, maybe thats cos i'm a girl. they generally have a lot of attitude, but i spose u have to have that in order to get the job done.

yeah they're security from the Italian Club, I remember going to Pulse when I was 13/14 and getting metal detected! You'd think all the clubs would do it these days with all the stabbings going on.

    Crazy.
To be honest, my northbridge existance is very limited these days. I'll go to the Drum on Friday and stay pretty much there til I go home.

This weekend I was fucking starving so I went for a walk and realised why I don't stray outside of the DC laneway as a rule. Millions of aboriginals being dodgy and 'the noongar patrol who look equally as dodgy, a group of guys breaking into cars in a carpark, random people yelling everywhere, jesus freaks, asian gangsters in baggy jeans and thongs, cops, pissed people, guys trying to fight, angry looking bouncers,............and theres fuckall to eat now other than shit kebabs anyway!@!

Some chick was dancing in the window of what used to be the Northbridge Pavillion. Completely and utterly no point to it at all, but I guess she made people stop and look at her.

    Northbridge is a slum.

I started heading towards the sheilas toilets on the bottom floor of MOS thinking there was an exit, and a security guard quickly got up and had a look on his face that said 'no you dont you fucking pervert'.

I've never had problems with the security used at most of the Globe parties. The only real problem I had was once at Drum Club at the start of this year when I was getting quizzed stupid questions such as What's the date today, then after getting let in, got pulled back out after I paid and had the bouncer trying to tell me that if i was born in 82 i was too young to enter. Youu idiot.

THE LURKER ! haha we call him the lurker, now it won't be the same without the mullet
one of their guys is just as into it as everyone else  y'know the one who bops around all night and was rolling around in the ball pit at fundamental throwing balls at people .

i have one problem with their security though.. Mad For It, they were right wankers, as soon as the lights came on they were like "alright people fuck off home"
and I CANNOT STAND THAT BITCH (tracey) hehehe

that was tango security, one of my closest mates worked at system (i didn't even know till i saw him there) and he is far from a wanker. and at the end i was talking to one of them and they were rather polite and even asked another guard to run up to get deano for me

New Age security is one of the bad companies... that idiot from globe that bashed that guy senseless worked for New Age, that would mean that all the other knob head bouncers would have worked for them aswell.

mullet man (his real name is mick) used to be with tracey, they have 2 (3?) kids together

tracey is actually ok if you talk to her, and mick is a top bloke. he was one of the bouncers at mojos bar in north freo when i used to work there. he is now no longer in the security trade, but runs his own construction company, and ive heard he is doing quite well for himself. dont judge a book by its cover - or by the way that book treats gurning ravers

Personally I get pissed off when I frequent a certain club on James Street and the tool boy on the door tells me it's Member's Only because I'm not dressed like a clubber "should" be, despite the fact that I'm meeting people there, I've been going there for 10 years, I'm on the mailing list and inside is 3/4 empty...
