Re: M_nus Cube... In all seriousness, it is a *new* concept in terms of consumer/producer interactivity that matches web2.0 capabilities (that are fast becoming a vital component of daily life) in a real world environment. Well done on actualising the '2.0 virtual realm' into the party. My concern is just how far is techno getting into 'must have latest software/hardware' plugin to make/appreciate music? If that's the case, would the music only hold currency as long as the technology is new? Doesn't say much for the longevity of techno music once we reach a point in technology where we are making variations of the core product (e.g hand phones, windows operating systems, toothbrushes, internet viral social networks....how many times can you reinvent the wheel?) Ritchie does take hold of the newest software/hardware and shows the way forward for techno (electronic music in general) as embracing the newest developments. However, how much of it is experimental, valid only in the here and now and will become thrown in the obsolete pile of old technology and forgotten music? In a positive mood he is the advocat for new technology, with a black hat he is simply a walking advertisement for native instruments or whoever else makes some new vst/synth/dj accessory (the John Laws of techno?)
