From humble beginnings 4 years ago Science Fiction has become Perth's
biggest end of year dance event. A collaboration of massive proportions;
last year 9,000 people saw in the New Millennium at Belmont Racecourse.
This year we get bigger and bolder, 5 dancefloors, the collective energies
of 6 crews, 3 international live acts, 9 international DJ acts, the best
of Perth talent, set out over 4 floors and a huge outdoors entertainment
area overlooking the Swan River.
We continue where we left off last year, taking it one step further,
pushing the boundaries of production, lights, sound and decor. Join
us as we once again welcome in the New Year in style this time with additional
performance based visuals, rides and interactive media.

CJ BOLLAND (Belgium)
CJ Bolland is one of the most influential and prolific artists in electronic music. CJ Bolland returns to Perth after a spectacular LIVE set earlier this year which tore the roof off the Globe, once again he will unleash the power, watch as the main room erupts.
GRAEME PARK (UK)
Graeme Park is one of the UK's preeminent funky house DJ's, one of the pioneers; he came from the same scene that spawned the likes of Danny Rampling; Paul Oakenfold; Sasha and John Digweed. Graeme will play his funky selection in the lead-up to the New Years.
DJ HEAVEN (UK)
Dj Heaven is without a doubt Perth's most popular international visitor. Having been to Perth on 6 previous occasions her most recent visit saw her tear apart the main room at last years Science Fiction extravaganza. Once again this is your chance to bring in the New Year girl-power stylee.
CHRISTIAN SMITH (SWE)
Christian Smith is an ambassador for funky; party techno, a master of the genre, and the man who played a great part in its resurgence as a musical genre. Christian will bring in the morning with funky tech-house and party techno to keep the masses cruising til the very end.

THE FREESTYLERS (UK)
Well, The Freestylers really need no introduction, the UK's renegade electro-breaks-disco boys, they are the party breaks specialists. The Freestylers return to Perth just prior to the release of their new album, they are going to debut new material, but you can expect the same phat selection.
LAIDBACK (UK)
Laidback is the master of old school breaks sound, having emerged at the height of the big beat scene Laidback is one the few artists that has continued producing phat breaks and pushing boundaries in the genre. This will truly be one for the b-boys and b-girls breaks stylin'.

ADAM BEYER (SWE)
Adam Beyer is the legendary DJ and producer behind Drumcode and Code Red labels. Adam's trademark driving techno style has influenced the direction of techno over the last 3 years, and his DJ style, tight 3 deck mixing with tricks and hip-hop trademarks. Adam returns to Perth after a absence of over 1 year, and he aims to lay down the law with a bold 3 hour techno set that is guaranteed to be one of the highlights of Science Fiction.
JOEL MULL (SWE)
Mull is Swedens most well known exponent of melodic techno and deep funky tech-house. Joel returns to Perth ready to debut his new live show, Perth will be the first to see the show, a one hour live set of tech-house and techno as only the Swedes know how. Following up from this Joel will let loose with a 2 hour DJ set driving techno and funky house.
HONEYSMACK
Melbourne's one man techno freakshow, a crazed maniac who has somehow avoided being committed, only to write the most fukked up techno and acid music. Prepare to let Melbourne's biggest freak show welcome in the New Year in the techno room.
